Bright blades of lemon yellow are variegated with creamy white in this golden version of Hakonechloa. It’s the same height as ‘All Gold’ with the same draping foliage but the leaves have distinctive white racing stripes. ‘Lemon Zest’ is the lightest, brightest Japanese forest grass available. It waves gently in the breeze, adding a new dimension of movement and texture to the shade landscape, especially planted en masse.
