Hardy to zone 5, Erysistibles are very much perennials. Plant 72s in the fall to bulk up over winter for early spring sales, or grow out 21s for a fast finish. Erysistibles flower first year.

DRY SOIL

Erysistibles prefer dry soils over wet ones. They fare just fine in lightly watered or natural rain gardens.

FULL SUN

Gardens in full sun produce the highest blooms. Plants can take some shade during the day.

COLD NIGHTS

Early cool temperatures make the blooms even more vibrant.

SWEET SCENT

The fragrance is similar to the cherry pie-style of Heliotrope.
