The Shutter Bugs...

92 ...have a photo finish!

'Angelina', 'Britney', 'Gaga', 'Lindsay', 'Miley', and 'Paris', these starlets are now immortalized in a wonderful new Phlox series called Paparazzi™.

Developed by EuroAmerican's Matt Mart, Phlox Paparazzi™ incorporates some excellent genetics. It is a cross between Phlox subulata, Phlox divaricata, and a secret Phlox species- making these gals quite intriguing. Each variety has a unique dazzling quality that brings out the fine attributes of its parents. They all have a great retail shelf life- much better than Phlox subulata. And let me tell you, during this summer's heat, the foliage is still gorgeously glossy green.

'Miley' is the taller one at 8 inches, with bright pink flowers and dark purple eyes - making her quite distinct.

'Angelina' has a lavender flower with a dot of purple in the eye. She grows 6 to 8 inches in height.

'Gaga' flowers almost as early as the subulata types. She is a pleasant blend of three low growing phlox species.

She is bred for fragrance and long shelf life in a pot. Her flowers are light lavender with bluish flecking in the petals, and a height of 6 to 8 inches.

'Paris' has more blue and less red then 'Gaga'. 'Paris' is a soft blue with darker flecks in the middle.

'Lindsay' has slightly larger flowers and they keep slightly longer. The buds are darker pink opening to a clear pink.

'Britney' is a classic. Her light pink blooms are a dazzling show. She is the shortest lady Phlox, closer to the 6 inch mark.

All of these ladies are hardy from zones 5 to 8. They love full sun to partial shade, and blooming is enhanced by vernalization. So plant and bulk up now to overwinter and have an early blooming from April to May. The lovely flowers are held 6 to 8 inches above the foliage. The clean green foliage takes over in the summer and fall, making a solid mat. Remove the spent blooms for a pleasant green ground cover. Good for the garden and bred with containers in mind, they will please! You can find them on our availability now!
